Dustin Lloyd, DPM
Dr. Dustin Lloyd was born in Springfield, Missouri and grew up in Allen, Texas. He is a graduate of Allen High School where he was an active member of the Allen Eagle Escadrille drumline. Dr. Lloyd attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. While pursuing this degree he became fascinated with the mechanics of the human body and was introduced to Podiatry. He then received his formal medical training at Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Lloyd completed a three-year surgical residency at Mt. Sinai Medical Center, a very busy inner city level-one trauma center, in Chicago, Illinois. During his residency he served as Chief Resident. He was active in training podiatric medical students in the clinical setting.
Dr. Lloyd has also lectured multiple times at Scholl College on topics such as conservative and surgical management of pediatric disorders of the foot and ankle as
well as proper treatment of foot and ankle traumas. Dr. Lloyd has a love of teaching and feels that educating patients about diagnosis and treatment plans is the key to helping those with foot and ankle pain. He believes that effective communication and getting to know each patient allows him to provide an individualized treatment plan.
Dr. Lloyd is excited to return and serve the community that he grew up in. He loves spending time with his wonderful wife, Jessye (from Austin) two beautiful daughters, Mya and Tessa and little boy Henry. He enjoys cooking, Texas barbecue, cycling, and being involved in his church.
